This role also involves developing advanced training scenarios, ensuring their effectiveness, and supporting real-time exercises.\nThe mission is to provide the U.S. Space force 328th WPS Modeling & Simulation command with software development services in support of Advanced Training.\nSpecific Responsibilities\nDeliver simulator training for instructors and students on M&S tools four times annually.\nDevelop, update, and refine training materials and simulation scenarios based on the 328 WPS syllabi.\nMonitor training outcomes and gather feedback to improve training effectiveness.\nCollaborate with instructors to create new simulation scenarios and improve existing ones.\nProvide real-time support during training exercises to troubleshoot and resolve issues with M&S tools.\nDevelop and deliver advanced training scenarios using Unity game engine and C# to create realistic and immersive simulations.\nLeverage VR/MR platforms, particularly Meta Quest 3 or similar, to build interactive, high-fidelity training environments.\nCollaborate with the Software Engineer to integrate simulation scenarios into the broader M&S framework, ensuring they align with the 328 WPS mission.\nSupport the development and real-time execution of simulation-based training, troubleshooting issues during live training sessions.\nRegularly update and refine training materials and scenarios based on feedback from instructors and students.\nAssist in the development of new training modules that incorporate both virtual and real-world elements using mixed reality.\nProvide ongoing support to instructors and students to ensure smooth execution of simulations during training exercises.\nStay up to date with the latest VR/MR and simulation technology advancements to continuously improve training programs.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Simulation Engineering, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience developing training scenarios using M&S tools, with a focus on Unity and C#.\nStrong experience in developing simulations for VR/MR platforms, particularly Meta Quest 3 or similar devices.\nFamiliarity with Ansys Systems Toolkit (STK) and SysML diagrams to support scenario integration with broader simulation frameworks.\nProficiency in C# coding for Unity-based simulation development.\nAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and instructors, to create effective and scalable training scenarios.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot real-time issues during training exercises.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills to train instructors and students on the use of simulation tools.\nPhysical Requirements and Work Environment\nMust be able to lift 50lbs\nWork will be performed at an active Military Installation\nFamiliarity with CAC card procedures; existing CAC holder preferred\nTravel\nNone required\nCompany Description\nObsidian Solutions Group LLC (OSG) is a fast-growing professional services firm based in Fredericksburg, VA.
