Ready to bring your best?\nPosition Responsibilities\nAll duties consistent with following our established SOP's to ensure the proper operation of the process equipment to include the pasteurization equipment, tanks, pumps, product lines, valves, fittings and components.\nFollow all established Product Processing guidelines to ensure product meets our internal Saputo, State and Federal Pasteurized Milk Ordinance requirements.\nEffective communication and coordination with other departments to ensure product is processed and supplied in accordance with our production run schedule, product end of run, and product change-overs.\nFollow all Chart Recording guidelines, ensure accuracy and completion of all required documentation, charts and records.\nProficiency with computer based software and automated control systems.\nSupport internal and external compliance audits.\nMust obtain state pasteurization license.\nProcess all product reclaim within defined guidelines.\nPerform equipment CIP/SIP/COP/Sanitation and complete dept. clean-up and general housekeeping as required.\nPerform routine equipment adjustments as necessary.\nPerform all required department environmental controls.\nFollow all established GMP/Food Safety/Allergen policies\nFollow all employee Health and Safety policies.\nWear all required Personal Protective Equipment\nIdentify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification product conditions. Follow the established notification protocol.\nPerform routine equipment adjustments.\nAccurately and neatly complete production records and documents.\nFollow all established occupational health and safety procedures.\nFollow all established GMP’s and Food Safety requirements.\nSafe operation of lift truck and material handling equipment.\nCross-train with other departments.\nPerform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.\nComply with federal, state and local dairy food regulations.\nAdhere to the Saputo code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values.\nWork together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel.\nOther duties as required by management.\nJob requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of (2)-two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.\nAdvanced quality/food safety training with a concentration in dairy science, a plus.\nPasteurizer License - Grade A milk, in accordance with state regulations.\nStrong math skills.\nStrong PC skills, MS Excel and ERP systems, SAP a plus.\nStrong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.\nAbility to achieve lift truck certification and safely operate lift trucks.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated work history.\nConsistent attendance is a must\nAbility to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.\nWorking with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures.\nPhysical lifting up to 40-lbs frequently throughout the shift. Lift 50+ Lbs with assistance.\nShift flexibility. This is a hands-on role for a 24/7 manufacturing facility. Our equipment operators are assigned to a team on a 3-shift, 24/7 operation to support manufacturing. This can either be rotating, days, swing or night shift and weekends.
