What a typical day as a Warehouse Worker might look like:Assists the Warehouse team in the Warehouse operation, including but not limited to: receiving, shipping, GMP requirements, and filling in at other positions where needed. Assists in assuring the efficient and correct order fulfillment and loading of route trucks, boxed beef orders, and will-call orders. Fills in, as required, in any of the following job functions: receiving, loading , unloading, stretch wrapping, product put away, order selecting , scanning, palletizing, invoicing, labeling, warehouse clean up, freezer work, reboxing product. Works with QA and accounting to assure all returns are processed properly and proper credits have been issued. Assists in assuring any and all special product requirements have been met Assures all powered equipment inspection forms are completed daily and notifies management of potential safety issues. Assists in investigating inventory discrepancies Assures that all safety and GMP rules are adhered to Conducts item to item transfers as required Performs other duties as assigned. This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If YouHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including product put-away, order selection, and shipping/receiving processes. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Capacity to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Comfort working in various conditions, including cold or freezer environments. Familiarity in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with potential exposure to varying temperatures. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and adapt to different roles as needed. Strong communication skills for coordinating with warehouse team members, QA, and accounting departments.
