Senior State Tax Analyst
Job Description:
Manage external loan staff resources in the preparation, review and filing of state tax returns
Ensure timely and accurate information is provided in response to all governmental notices and audits
Review components of various quarterly and annual financial statement tax calculations
Analyze and communicate variance analysis to management
Use essential software tools (OneSource, Hyperion, SAP, etc.)
Work closely with external and internal auditors and financial accounting department
Prepare quarterly and annual workpapers and analyze tax accounting
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree required
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience
Working knowledge of federal and state corporate income tax laws
Excellent analytical and writing skills
Project management skills
Good computer skills; specifically, knowledge of tax research software and Microsoft Office Suite
CPA license or passage of CPA examination preferred
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
