Here our team members are family.\n\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities\n\nDelivers products to customers which may include assistance with unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket with material, etc. Serves as primary interface with the customer at point of delivery. Contacts customers if they are not present at delivery location.\nLoads truck with daily deliveries. Unloads product at customer’s site.\nPerforms pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Core & Main policies and procedures. Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route. Fuels truck as needed.\nResolves customer service issues.\nComplies with all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations. Maintains records such as vehicle logs and bill of ladings in accordance with guidelines.\nPlans route to and from customers' businesses and adjusts for traffic and/or construction.\nEnsure that manifests are complete and accurate.\nMay assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking all incoming material.\n\nRequirements\n\nMust be 21 years of age\nValid CDL A or CDL B\n1-year of on-the-job commercial driving experience\nMust be able to pass pre-employment assessments\n\nPreferably, YOU have:\n\nManual transmission experience\nFlatbed driving experience\nForklift experience\n2+ years of delivery experience\nPrior experience loading/unloading product and/or job site delivery.\n\nHERE , we have:\n\nMedical with 100% preventative care coverage\nHealth Savings Account\nDental and Vison\n401K\nTuition Reimbursement and Tuition Grants\nContinued learning opportunities through our onsite training facility and extensive online learning catalog\nProfessional development and industry networking opportunities, e.g. Our Women’s Network and community engagement events\n\nCore & Main is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
