Enterprise Application Architect
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect for a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, Texas. Candidates must reside in the Austin area to work on-site two days a week.Responsibilities: Conducts comprehensive current and future state traffic service mapping, performs gap analyses, estimates delivery milestones, communicates strategic plans and progress, and facilitates cross-departmental development meetings.Spearheads the development and implementation of innovative solutions as a Subject Matter Expert, providing strategic guidance on new designs and methodologies to the team.Evaluates proposed solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to clients, maintaining rigorous standards throughout the process.Acts as a key liaison between the project user community and IT, collaborating with client managers to develop tailored proposals and solutions that address specific client needs.Oversees third-party vendor management, leveraging expertise in best practices related to traffic networking, data management, traffic device hardware, and applications.Assesses emerging traffic technologies for potential acquisition, directing evaluations of various hardware and software resources to identify strengths, weaknesses, and benefits to the organization.Prioritizes and manages maintenance, design, development, and analysis for comprehensive traffic systems, ensuring efficient operations and enhancements.Recommends strategic changes to services, products, protocols, and standards to support development initiatives and traffic procurement efforts.Analyzes and interprets traffic system and application data to assess performance, derive actionable insights, make data-driven decisions, and effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders and management.You:8+ years of a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, ideally with a focus on engineering, information systems, computer science, data processing, or a related discipline.8+ years of experience in project development for engineering projects and systems, as well as information technology applications and systems.4+ years of expertise in traffic applications, signals, and hardware, preferred.2+ years of proficiency in traffic data analysis and reporting, preferred.4+ years of public sector involvement (Federal, State, or Local Government), preferred.4+ years of ability to prepare and deliver presentations to large groups, preferred.What We Offer:Hybrid work with two days a week onsite and the rest remote.Competitive compensation and benefits including health, dental, vision, life and accident insurance and short-term disability insurance.Great work-life balance.This is a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, Texas and no sponsorship can be provided.
