Facilities & Logistics CoordinatorPay Rate: $27-28/HR Hours: M-F 7am - 3:30pm Location: 4224 Campus Point Dr, San DiegoTeam Overview: Solo on the site Would have a team of maintenance workers HM and senior FMSummary: The Facilities & Logistics Coordinator supports daily onsite operations by managing shipping and receiving (including IATA-compliant shipments), providing light facilities maintenance, and serving as the primary representative for client-facing interactions. This role is highly customer-focused and ensures smooth workplace operations while maintaining standards of service. And other duties as assigned.Key ResponsibilitiesShipping & Receiving (Primary) (4-6 hours a day) - Main responsibilityReceive, log, distribute, and ship inbound and outbound materials and packagesPrepare and process IATA-compliant shipments (dangerous goods, regulated materials, etc.)- EXPERIENCE WITH THIS WOULD BE A HUGE PLUSCoordinate with couriers, freight vendors, and internal stakeholdersMaintain accurate shipping records, tracking, and documentationEnsure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirementsMaintain inventory of supplies of shipping materialsFacilities & Workplace SupportPerform light maintenance (minor repairs and basic troubleshooting)Submit and track service requests and vendor work ordersConduct routine walkthroughs to identify facility issuesSupport preventive maintenance and safety programsLight Workplace Experience duties (break areas)Client & Customer Experience (Face of client)Serve as the front-line client representative for onsite clients and vendorsProvide high-touch customer service and professional communicationRespond promptly to service requests and inquiriesBuild strong client relationships and maintain a polished, welcoming environmentFollow CBRE policies, EHS standards, and client-specific proceduresRequired QualificationsExperience in shipping & receiving, including IATA shipping certification or hands-on experiencePrior facilities, workplace services, or operations experienceStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to perform light physical work (lifting, moving equipment) up to 50lbsBasic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, work order systems)High school diploma or equivalentPreferred QualificationsExperience in a corporate, lab, or tech environmentMaterial handling experience
