This individual will work with\ncustomers and other colleagues in automation and systems architecture in order to architect\nsolutions and improve reliability. They must be able and willing to document their processes\nusing agile methodologies. This individual should be inquisitive to new technologies and be able\nto learn at a fast pace.\nRequirements:\n\nMonitor all customer-facing applications and infrastructure to ensure they are working\noptimally.\n\nMust be a fast learner with an inquisitive mindset.\nResolve support escalation cases through the troubleshooting of issues and find\nopportunities to improve our application’s architecture and system infrastructure.\n\nMust be willing to obtain an industry certification (ie: AWS Cloud Practitioner, VMware\nPre-Sales Engineer, etc.) within 6 months of hire.\n\nMust be able to quantify failures and availabilities in a prescriptive manner (SLIs, SLOs,\nSLAs).\n\nMust work efficiently and have an agile mindset.\nWilling to embrace risk and accept failures and perform post-mortem analysis of such\nfailures.\n\nSelf-driven and motivated to grow quickly is a must.\nFamiliarity with implementation of gradual changes (canary deployments).\nOccasional travel (less than 10%) will be required.\nQualifications:\n\nMinimum of 2 years of SRE experience.\nCollege-level associate degree or higher preferred; or equivalent of related work\nexperience.\n\nWorking knowledge of scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible, Python,\nCloudFormation, etc.\nWhat We Offer:\nAdvancement Opportunities\nPTO & Paid Holidays\nComprehensive benefits package – Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision\nand 401(k) matching.\nMany remote opportunities – Adela does have some remote opportunities, although we\nwork hard to ensure you never feel like you are working remotely!\nCertification Reimbursement – At Adela we want to help invest in your educational\ndevelopment.
