In this high-profile role, you will be the program leader for key engineering initiatives from concept to execution, and you will build and operate the web platforms and applications that deliver Cluster tooling and content to its audiences. You will work across all of engineering and business — partnering with design, platform validation, and product engineering teams — to meet overall initiative and product objectives.\n\nTHE PERSON:\nThe right candidate is a dynamic, innovative individual who has demonstrated success across technical program management and web/application engineering, with an outstanding track record of delivery. A willingness to learn about new technologies and find workarounds to technical challenges is highly valued.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProgram Management\nDefine, plan, and drive program plans based on management and senior technical guidance\nScope technical and plan products by clarifying and analyzing requirements with SW/HW architects, technical leads, and engineers\nBuild, create, and maintain a well-developed, managed, and executed program plan, including formal program management artifacts such as a plan of record, statements of work, project/program timelines, budget, scope, performance, and quality KPIs\nPlan for risks in the development path, identify prevention methods, and address them to maintain schedule\nWork comfortably with senior executives, addressing the needs and requirements of AMD's Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Engineering organizations\nPromote cross-team collaboration and engagement among global subject matter experts, marketing, and technical support staff\nEffectively plan and track projects, capably reporting status and issues both up and down the organization\nManage multiple projects through shifting priorities and deadlines\n\nWeb/Application Development & Engineering\n\nAdminister web services, including deployment, configuration, and routine maintenance\nIntegrate Cluster systems with a wide range of web applications, APIs, and business systems\nDevelop and optimize web pages and applications for Cluster designs and for accessing Cluster collateral\nUse AI to optimize websites, applications, and workflows and to develop new features\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\nProficiency in web languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with full-stack software engineering experience and familiarity interacting with REST APIs\nCross-platform expertise with both LAMP and Microsoft (Windows, IIS, .NET, MS SQL) web stacks supporting diverse application architectures\nAbility to work in Linux/Unix as well as Windows-based systems, and comfort working in the command line of remote systems\nCI/CD automation across DevOps, web applications, and service deployments, including build/release pipeline optimization\nExperience with SQL/KQL (MSSQL, MySQL, and Azure Kusto) and various reporting platforms (Power BI, Grafana, and more)\nExperience managing multiple projects using collaborative platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel) and Agile methodology\nWeb accessibility best practices\nAbility to grasp concepts during discussions and turn minutes into action items, and to communicate concepts and processes with stakeholders\nAnalytical, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and results-oriented\nExcellent interpersonal and English-language writing, editing, and organizational skills, including the ability to work well with multiple people and teams and communicate progress on a regular basis\nExperience working in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities and tight turnaround times\nHighly motivated to seek out solutions and willing to learn new skills to fulfill job requirements\nFamiliarity with High-Performance Computing (HPC) and cluster networks\nUnderstanding of IT infrastructure such as servers, networking, storage, and operating systems\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering; or in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field.\nProject Management education, PMP or equivalent certification/training is an asset\n\nLOCATION: Austin, TX/ Secaucus, NJ / Seattle, WA\n\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.\n\n#LI-SC3\n#LI-HYBRID\nQualifications:\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
