Listed on London Stock Exchange; Member of the FTSE 250 Index.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\n\nThe Process / CI Engineer is a key member of the engineering team, with responsibility to develop, implement, and manage the manufacturing processes, methods, and equipment designed to ensure continuous production of materials that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. The role requires a ‘hands on’ individual who can balance the theoretical with the practical aspects of the job, coupled with the interpersonal skills to drive through improvements. This position will also partner with manufacturing to contribute to continuous improvement activities and initiatives.\n\n JOB FUNCTIONS\n\nSpend significant time in the plant learning the metrics, the processes, and the key levers.\nEstablish strong working relationships with production management and equipment operators. Become the subject matter expert and a key technical resource.\nGather data from process parameters and interpret (from a statistical approach) to determine their relationships with the KPI metrics.\nConduct Root Cause Analysis exercises to identify failure points and establish corrective actions.\nEstablish strong working relationships with maintenance team to identify critical equipment and opportunities for improved reliability and performance.\nSupport the production team in establishing standard work (tooling, documentation, etc) for processes. Support the training and adherence to standard work.\nAs applicable, execute improvement projects and measure impact. When additional engineering resources are required, provide support as needed.\nPrepare detailed estimates for assigned projects and coordinate work to meet project completion dates, technical specifications, and budget parameters.\nAssist in the training of production operators on new processes, tooling, and machinery.\nTrack progress of projects and process improvements completed and maintain records. Track and maintain all project cost savings and report to business partners.\nMaintain liaison with the appropriate sectors – Marketing, Production, Maintenance, R&D, Quality, and EH&S – on all assigned projects.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis methodologies to reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and increase overall operational performance.\nAnalyze production and business process data to identify improvement opportunities, develop corrective actions, and implement sustainable solutions that drive measurable results.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes, optimize workflows, and support a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, and performance monitoring.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\n\nBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution (Ceramic, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical)\nMinimum (1) one year of experience in manufacturing or related industry\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications\nProficiency in AutoCAD or Solid Works\nProficiency in Mini-Tab or other statistical software\nIndividual must be a\nCitizen of the United States, or\nPermanent resident alien of the United States, or\nProtected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324(a)(3)\n\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and tasks.\nAbility to analyze data and plan improvement activities.\nPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work cohesively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes.\nQuality certification a plus.\n\n SCHEDULE DESCRIPTION\n\nThe typical schedule for this position is an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday.\nOvertime and weekend work as needed.\n\n PHYSICAL DEMANDS\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
