Fyda Freightliner Columbus is an Elite Support Certified dealer of new Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu and Ottawa trucks, and carries a large inventory of all-makes of pre-owned trucks. Serving the Columbus transportation industry hub since 1985, we operate as a full-service commercial truck dealership and body shop collision center.Assistant ResponsibilitiesSandblasting vehicles and preparing for repaintingResponsible for keeping assigned areas clean and organizedMoving vehicles in and out of shop and coordinating lot parkingGreet customers, directing them to the office and assisting with drop-off/pick-upAssist technicians when needed, performing various basic repair tasksMaintain a clean and safe work environment while complying with company safety policies and procedures.Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.Perform all other related assigned duties Assistant QualificationsMust be over 21 years old, have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record (CDL is preferable but not required)Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.Working knowledge of shop equipment.Basic Heavy and Medium Duty Truck knowledge is ideal but not necessaryAbility to work independently and on a team.Detail oriented and quality driven.Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
