Job DescriptionJob Title: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATORESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Ensure that all Hanwha Philly Shipyard’s safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and metGather documents, match and review invoices for correctness of information and proper authorization to payInsure correct account codingAccurate data entry and filingReconcile vendor accounts monthlyCommunicate with vendors concerning discrepancies and insure corrective actions are takenReview vendor status weekly with the AP SupervisorPrint and mail checksOpen and distribute incoming mailAssist with year-end auditAssist with other projects as neededPerform other related duties as required and assignedCOMPETENCIESGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood organizational skills and able to prioritizeStrict attention to detailWillingness to learnThoroughnessFlexibilityIntegrityAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesWillingness and ability to work as a team memberSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTYThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.EDUCATION AND EXPEREIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredExperience with Accounts Payable processing and office operationsExperience with SAPKnowledge and experience with Excel and WordWORK ENVIRONMENTEnvironmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke.
