Through Elevate, candidates who may not yet have direct data center or technical experience will receive structured training followed by on-the-job learning in a data center environment.\r\nAs a member of the Engineering and Facilities team, you will support the operation and maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, follow detailed safety and operating procedures, and help maintain world-class facility reliability. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with curiosity for technology, a strong work ethic, and interest in electrical, mechanical, or facilities systems.\r\nBasic Qualifications:\r\nHighly proficient in written and spoken English (CEFR C1).\r\nLifting and moving up to 39 pounds independently on a normal basis. 40+ pounds for group lifts.\r\nWorking and performing construction tasks from ladders.\r\nProficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word) and web-based operational tools.\r\nNice-to-Have Qualifications:\r\nCompleted apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician/Electrician or equivalent recognized training.\r\n1+ years of job-related experience in a fast-paced environment (restaurant, hospital/ER, classroom/schools, military, etc.)\r\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline.\r\nFamiliarity with Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) control systems and data collection/trending.\r\nProficient with Change Management Systems (CMS) and Ticket Systems.\r\nResponsibilities:\r\nIn-person Classroom Training:\r\nSelected candidates will begin with a 4‐week instructor led training program through a local community college.‐\r\nSafety:\r\nUphold and promote the highest safety standards, fostering a world-class safety culture.\r\nCollaborate with other teams to address safety risks/issues and take ownership of safety initiatives and projects.\r\nEngineering & Facility Operations and Maintenance:\r\nDemonstrate operational expertise in electrical and mechanical equipment, including UPS's, Switchgear, Circuit\r\nBreakers, ATS's, Diesel Generators, Chillers, HVAC, Exhaust Fans, VFD's, and Transformers.\r\nTroubleshoot events within internal SLAs and work varying shifts (morning, late, and night).\r\nConduct routine rounds/log-taking for operational readings of mechanical and electrical equipment.\r\nSupervise contractors performing servicing or preventive maintenance.\r\nRespond to off-duty emergency calls on an on-call rotation basis.\r\nLift/move objects/materials within regulatory weight limits and work in outdoor weather conditions occasionally.\r\nRegularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb stairs, twist, bend, work above shoulders, grasp, carry, push and pull objects into position.\r\nShift Details:\r\nShifts are 12.5 hours long (5:30 AM/PM – 6:30 AM/PM)\r\nDays are 3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off.
