Our dedication to quality, style, and affordability has solidified our reputation as a trusted and recognized brand worldwide.\nSummary: The Selling Manager is responsible for providing support to the Sales Manager and assisting with management duties as directed.\nResponsibilities: Managing all departments in the showroom as directed by the Sales Manager.\nReviewing sales including margins, volume, quotas, and closing ratios while suggesting future goals.\nAssisting the Sales Manager with customer-related issues escalating above the Guest Experience Manager.\nWorking with the Visual Presentation Manager regarding product placement Reporting changes in policy and other information to staff members.\nProviding exceptional leadership to the sales, guest experience, and visual teams as portrayed by the Sales Manager.\nCoaching members of the staff to build individual and team success in a professional manner.\nLearning about budgeted administrative costs including wages and supplies.\nGaining an understanding of the performance of employees and assisting them as applicable.\nEnsuring complete and adequate documentation of procedures and tasks completed.\nCompleting various report functions in a timely manner.\nAssisting with hiring, training, and coaching the sales team.\nAssisting the Sales Manager with preparing and administering performance evaluations for assigned staff.\nProviding timely and effective communications.\nAttending monthly staff meetings.\nOther duties as assigned, essential or otherwise.\nRequirements & Qualifications: High School Diploma required\n2 + years working in the retail industry\n4 + years supervising in a retail industry\nPrevious supervisory experience required\nIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft office\nAbility to learn in-house computer programs\nAbility to handle guest concerns in a timely manner\nAbility to interview and staff retail location\nAbility to work flexible hours and travel as needed.\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills\nKnowledge and experience in team building skills.\nWhat's In It for You: When you join us, you are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits programs, which include:\nHealth, dental benefits, and vision insurance\nEmployee Discount from 10% - 30%\nLife/Disability Insurance\nFlex Spending Account\n401K\nPaid Time Off\nAshley values its diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
