Growing together.You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Define and evolve AI enabled test strategies and test plans by analyzing system designs, technical specifications, and user requirementsDesign, develop, and continuously refine automation first test frameworks and scripts, leveraging AI tools to optimize coverage, execution speed, and defect detectionExecute and automate functional, integration, regression, and end to end testing for both GUI and non-GUI (transactional) systems, prioritizing scalability and resiliencePartner closely with engineering teams to embed automated and AI assisted testing into the delivery pipeline, influencing design for testability and quality at scaleConfigure, maintain, and debug cloud based and on demand test environments, enabling efficient automated testing and rapid feedback loopsDrive knowledge sharing, demonstrations, and enablement sessions to help teams adopt AI driven testing approaches and automation best practicesCollaborate with support and operations teams to apply automation and AI assisted diagnostics when analyzing and resolving production issues, reducing mean time to resolutionContinuously identify opportunities to replace manual processes with intelligent automation, improving reliability, repeatability, and delivery velocityYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong foundation in software testing principles, methodologies and best practices5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation and/or coding using one or more of the following: Java, Perl, Python, JMeter, Insomnia, ACCELQ4+ years of experience investigating, analyzing, documenting, and tracking software defects through resolution4+ years of experience working in Agile (Scrum) and SAFe environments, including tools such as JIRA and RallyIntermediate level of proficiency with relational databases, including the ability to write and optimize SQL queriesIntermediate level of experience with Azure and cloud native servicesDemonstrated AI-first mindset, leveraging AI tools and automation to drive testing efficiency, accelerate delivery, and identify innovation opportunitiesWorking knowledge of transaction based and high-volume processing systemsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and investigative skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issuesProven ability to interpret business requirements and technical specifications and translate them into effective test strategiesAbility to decompose requirements into user stories, provide accurate estimates, perform code reviews, identify and raise technical risks, and produce clear technical documentationSoft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross functional teamsSelf-motivated team player with a service oriented and continuous improvement mindset*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
