{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a93eafca2663eadcf7edd5de","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a93eafca2663eadcf7edd5de","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a93eafca2663eadcf7edd5de","title":"Mechanical Assembler","description":"Job Title: Light Industrial - Mechanical Assembler\nLocation: Orange, CA 92865\nDuration: TEMP-TO-HIRE\nTemp-To-Hire\nAssembler 2 will prepare and perform routine electronic and mechanical assembly operations at unit and module assembly level using blueprints, work instructions, ECN’s, deviations, drawings, diagrams, and written processes.\nIn addition, the Assembler will assemble and inspect components, parts, subassemblies, and assemblies.\nWorks on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice and normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.\nAsks for guidance from lead when there are questions about the build and documentation is not clear.\nOvertime: Ability to work overtime Monday thru Friday and on weekends with advance notice.\nKey Responsibilities\nIdentify material used to build the product qty. and where used.\nAssemble components to a final configured product utilizing process instructions, engineering documentation (assembly drawings, wire lists, Wiring Diagram etc.), specialized tooling and fixtures, measuring equipment, and hand tools.\nIdentify tooling requirements for assemblies to promote 6S.\nExperience in utilizing a variety of hand-held tools, crimpers, torque drivers, strippers, and screw drill gun.\nPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area.\nMeets established standards of productivity and quality.\nReads and interprets assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sheets and visual aids.\nFollow the lead’s instruction on building units.\nIdentify discrepant material using red tag process.\nMay provide training and support to lower-level assemblers as required.\nUse of dated calibrated equipment and dated sensitive materials.\nExhibit a positive “Can do” attitude and be a part of the drive for continuous improvements and problem-solving team working culture.\nMinimum Requirements\nMinimum 2 years of experience in electromechanical assembly\nHigh School diploma required\nAbility to read assembly drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams\nProficient use of small hand tools\nExcellent work ethic & dependability as a team member\nAbility to read and verbally communicate and understand work instruction\nAbility to work independently with minimum supervision\nMust be able to interact positively with co-workers\nWillingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as necessary\nAbility to work with and around aerosol products\nProlonged sitting or standing\nAdditional:\nAct as Role Model by exemplifying highest work ethic and technical standards for Production Operation.\nLead by example through work products that meets quality assurance standards.\nProficient and versatile technical experience and ability to support various workstations.\nAbility to promote and support line loading and updating Metric/KPI white board\nAbility to promote and support ESD and FOD programs.\nAbility to promote and support LEAN, 6S on a daily basis.\nOther duties as assigned.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally give directions to staff and understand responses.\nThe employee is frequently required to stand;
