Job Title: Principal Electrical EngineerLocation: Clearwater, Florida, United StatesEmployment Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (12 months, with potential extension or permanent conversion)Role OverviewYou will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of power supply systems. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, guidance, and hands-on expertise to ensure successful delivery of high-quality electrical engineering projects.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation, improve engineering processes, and support project execution from concept through validation. You will report to the Platform Electrical Engineering Manager and work from Clearwater, FL on a hybrid 3/2 schedule.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage power supply PCB/PBA electrical engineering projects from concept to completionProvide technical direction and mentorship to engineering team membersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project executionDesign high-reliability power electronics including DC-DC converters and EMI filtersConduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirementsPerform circuit analysis and laboratory testing of analog and power conversion systemsManage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resourcesSupport PCB/PBA design activities including requirements definition, design, analysis, and testingEnsure compliance with design standards, producibility, and best engineering practicesMentor early-career engineers in power supply designQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred)10+ years of experience in hardware electrical engineeringProven experience leading complex engineering projectsStrong knowledge of electrical design principlesProficiency in electrical design tools and simulation softwareStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred:Experience in high-reliability power electronics designKnowledge of EMI/EMC standards and compliance practicesExperience with PCB design tools and simulation environmentsExperience in requirements development, design verification, and qualification testingFamiliarity with project estimation and schedule managementActive participation in technical communities or industry forums is a plusBenefitsThis role offers a competitive compensation package and access to a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, parental leave, and educational assistance.Apply Now !
