Working for our team, you can truly make a difference.  \nWe are currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team.  The successful candidate meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards.  The Material Handler interacts with other departments to achieve the company’s core strategies and moves products to accommodate production. \n \nWhy work at MCC:  \n\nCompensation: $22.00 hourly\nGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)\nPaid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays \n\n \n Responsibilities:  \n\nReads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality. \nUnderstands and executes plan schedules in an accurate and prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput. \nWorks closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow. \nPerformance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position. \nCompletes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner. \nSafely operates material moving equipment. \nAssists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance. \nCorrectly enters information into systems for job tracking and payroll. \nDisposes of waste materials into proper storage containers. Mark and identify containers with required documentation. \nComplies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable. \nInteracts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining the company code of ethics. \nResponsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts. \nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned \n\n \nQualifications \n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability. \nAbility to operate material handling equipment. Forklift experience, required.\nBasic math and reading skills. \nComputer literacy. \nGood interpersonal and communication skills. \nThe physical demands require standing, using hands to feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.  \nThis position requires frequent walking.  \nOccasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. \nMust be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.\nSpecific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. \nKnowledge in Inventory Control and shipping/receiving activities is a plus.  \n\n#appcast\n \nFor over a century, Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) has crafted premium labels for the world’s most iconic and recognizable brands.
