This role will be responsible for ensuring NERC/CIP compliance, maintaining secure and reliable network operations, and supporting critical business functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Operational Technology (OT) security, network administration, and compliance within a SCADA environment.\n\nResponsibilities:\nWhat you will do:\nParticipate in an 24/7 On-Call rotation that directly supports operational control and visibility of the Bulk Electric System.\nEnsure NERC/CIP compliance and support security and operational objectives.\nConfigure, update, and maintain various network devices including switches, firewalls, IPDS, and associated systems.\nSupport ongoing development projects and ensure security is integrated.\nTroubleshoot and resolve network security issues efficiently.\nImplement and maintain security-centric network infrastructure, ensuring visibility and threat detection.\nAnalyze network logs and events to address security incidents proactively and reactively.\nCoordination between various teams in support of the Bulk Electric System.\nConvey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals and teams.\nQualifications:\nWe want you on our team because you…\nHave 5+ years of experience in network administration within a transmission utility or SCADA operational environment.\nPossess a strong background in networking concepts and connectivity\nPossess strong troubleshooting skills for network security issues and log/event analysis.\nHave experience maintaining security and compliance standards.\nHave hands-on experience with configuring and managing multiple vendor hardware.\nHold the following Certifications:\nActive CCNA OR CompTIA Network+ (minimum 1 year of experience)\nActive CCNP (preferred, 2+ years of experience)\nHave operational technology experience within a SCADA or utility sector (within the last 2-3 years).\nHave strong verbal and written communication skills.\nCan manage crisis situations and emergency responses.\nPossess 24/7 on-call experience with effective time and change management.\nAre self-motivated and mission-focused.\n\nPlease note, Candidates must have long-term authorization to work in the United States.
