This position is designed for individuals interested in learning a skilled trade and building a long-term career in the energy efficiency and construction industry.\nAs training milestones are completed, participants become eligible for wage increases and advancement opportunities, with the goal of transitioning into full-time employment.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nAssist with residential weatherization projects\nInstall insulation and air sealing materials\nLearn to identify energy efficiency opportunities in homes\nAssist with basic diagnostic testing and equipment setup\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment\nLoad, unload, and transport tools and materials\nFollow all safety procedures and company policies\nParticipate in required classroom and hands-on training\nPhysical Requirements\nApplicants must be able to:\nBend, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently\nWork in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas\nClimb ladders and navigate uneven surfaces\nLift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis\nWork in varying temperatures and weather conditions\nStand and move for extended periods throughout the workday\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nValid driver's license preferred\nReliable transportation\nAbility to pass employer screening requirements\nPositive attitude and willingness to learn\nStrong work ethic and dependability\nCareer Path\nSuccessful apprentices may advance into positions such as:\nWeatherization Technician\nEnergy Efficiency Installer\nCrew Leader\nEnergy Auditor\nBuilding Performance Technician\nNo previous experience is required.
