Responsibilities include design and test of electronic circuits as part of a multi-discipline team for electrical analysis, detailed design, and control. This is a hands-on position that includes both design and project management responsibilities across the entire product development lifecycle of power supplies unipolar ,bidirectional and bipolar 4 quadrant, typically in the 100W to 300 kW power range; 3V to 10kV voltage range using a combination of linear ,switching power topologies, controlled analog or digital (DSP/MCU) ,devise their control loops , hot-swap and supervising circuits .\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n· Power Supply Design & Development: Design and develop electronics circuits including Design Analysis, Schematic Capture and PCB design. Researches, develops, design, directs fabrication and testing of power supplies, special assemblies and loads.\n\n· Benchmark Breadboard & Testing: Perform benchmark on similar designs, build and troubleshoot breadboard concept and prototype. Record, analyze, and interpret test data, making necessary product modifications and conducting retests.\n\n· Design Validation & Testing: Generate test plan and fixture. Produce test procedures and help with providing specifications for design and validation /verification reports\n\n· Collaboration & Innovation: Collaborate with firmware and embedded engineers to drive innovation for analog electrical design integrated DSP/MCU digital control systems. SMPS and latest materials innovation (Sic, Gan) in SMPS/PS.\n\nTechnology Roadmap Contribution: Create Analog electrical design solutions and technical support to a variety of novel and complex projects throughout life cycle stages.\n\n· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define the best power supply topology, resolve technical issues that arise in the supply chain.\n\nDesign Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test procedures, writing reports, give design review preparation and presentations.\nCompliance & Standards: Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards (e.g., UL, CE, ISO), EMI/EMC or Mil-Std requirements.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.\nExperience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in power electronics design and validation. With at least 3+ years in developing power supplies. Experience with bidirectional, four quadrant power supply and recuperating energy is a plus.\nTechnical Skills:\nProficiency in designing analog circuits and familiarity with digital electronics applied to power supplies control, hot-swap circuitry, and PDN design.\nExperience with low voltage and high current power subsystems using DSP (e.g., MCU, SoC, ASIC, FPGA).\n\no Thorough understanding of power conversion principles (rectification, inversion, regulation, etc.) and basic converter topologies (buck, boost, fly back, etc.)\n\nDemonstrated experience designing power electronics or power supply design and its associated topologies preferred. Knowledge of operational, instrumentation and power amplifiers.\n\no Hands-on experience (design verification, troubleshooting and bench work)\n\no The position requires technical skills, interpersonal skills, and personal initiative, ability to multitask, energy and enthusiasm, passion for analog electronics\n\n· Tools & Simulation:\n\nFamiliarity with schematic and PCB CAD tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence).\nExperience with simulation tools such as SIMPLIS, SIMULINK, ANSYS SIWave, Multisim, SPICE or equivalent.\nKnowledge of control theory, loop compensation, and magnetics design.\nProblem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to analyze and resolve power delivery-related hardware issues.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAdvanced Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in power electronics.\nIndustry Experience: 7+ years in power delivery validation and design.\nInterface Expertise: Experience with power management interfaces (e.g., PMBus, I2C, SPI, GPIB, LXI).\nArchitecture Familiarity: Familiarity with major power supplies architectures AC/DC linear, switch-mode, AC/AC power conversion, power amplifier classes AB, B, D, G and battery-based DC/DC.\nAutomation Skills: Proficiency in using C, C++, Python for testing and automation/script development, DSP code programming.\n\nNPI Experience: Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) hardware design and deployment cycle.\n\nGeneral Notices\n\nProcess Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
