Cyber Security Technology (CST) is responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support. This role, as an individual contributor, is responsible for delivering best-in-class technology solutions in the Identity and Authentication domain. A strong candidate for this role will demonstrate past performance of delivering innovative products. A candidate for this position should be able to demonstrate strong proficiency in area of expertise and complex problem-solving skills. They should have a strong understanding of current development practices, and they should demonstrate a history of ownership to accomplish outcomes. Key responsibilities of the role include technical ownership, software developing, delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices. This role ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. A good candidate must understand secure coding practices. A candidate must have significant experience through multiple software implementations and have developed demonstrate strong technical competencies. Primary Level of Engagement: Works as a \"senior developer\" under minimum supervision from a senior domain expert. Primary Interactions: Product Owner Business Owner Scrum Master Development Team Architect Testing Release Train Engineer\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop and be accountable for feature delivery.\r\nApply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality.\r\nEnsure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.\r\nResponsible for compliance and security items and audit support.\r\nAct as a liaison for production activities/issues.\r\nParticipate in work breakdown and execution.\r\nPlay a team member role, as an individual contributor.\r\nMentor other team members whenever required.\r\nParticipate in planning & estimation, peer reviews and other engineering practices.\r\nIdentify skill and role gaps, and work with Technology Manager to address them.\r\nParticipate in creating resource contingency plans where required.\r\nOversee detailed execution of assigned deliverable at every level - Requirements gathering, technical design, build and quality assurance.\r\nRequired Skills\r\nBachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in building large scale Java applications.\r\nStrong skills in design and developing robust REST API and Micro Services.\r\nProficiency in Spring/SpringBoot.\r\nStrong hands-on experience in Identity & Authentication technologies including OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, FIDO/WebAuthn, PKI, and LDAP.\r\nWorking knowledge of digital credentials and digital wallet.\r\nExtensive knowledge and experience working with SQL, Stored Procedures, and Oracle DB data replication and performance tuning.\r\nExperience in building solutions using cloud-based services. Familiarity with cloud security.\r\nWorking experience in remediating application security vulnerabilities, CVEs.\r\nSkilled in using CI/CD tool set (JIRA/Bitbucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible).\r\nProficiency in development in Unix/Linux environment.\r\nProficiency developing in container-based architecture.\r\nExperience in UI development with React or similar framework.\r\nSelf-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nAbility to lead large & complex tasks including product upgrades and deployment of new capabilities and enhancements.\r\nAbility to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change.\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\r\nPreferred Skills\r\nFamiliarity with containerization, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.\r\nExperience integrating with AI/LLM models into Java applications using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
