Job DetailsDescriptionFederal Applicant Rights - EnglishFederal Applicant Rights - SpanishDescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Marketing team to support immediate and on-going Marketing initiatives.Assist team members with the creation of content for social media platforms and other channels.Distribute marketing materials and collateral as needed.Support the Marketing team in daily administrative tasks.Perform market analysis and research; research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content.Utilize company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM) as needed.Support the planning process and successful execution of tradeshows, conventions, and other Marketing-related events.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position is an individual contributor and has no direct supervisory responsibility.Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis position may be full-time or part-time depending on intern availability. Days and hours of work may be between Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.TravelThis position requires no measurable travel.Required Education And ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for marketing, communications, or in a similar field required.Understanding of Marketing techniques, theory, and best practices preferred.Familiarity or hands-on experience with marketing software (and social media platforms.Position RequirementsExcellent communications skills, both verbal and written, required; must communicate well on the telephone.Basic computer skills required with preference for those candidates Microsoft Office experience.Must be well-organized, have a high detail orientation and be flexible in performing daily duties.Team orientation and ability to work well and communicate within a small team required.Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner.CompetenciesProblem Solving/Analysis.Results Driven.Detail Orientation.Customer Focus.Technical Capacity.Communication Proficiency.Additional Eligibility QualificationsNone required for this position.Work Authorization/Security ClearanceEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
