Responsibilities include goal setting and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems, writing and conducting disciplinary actions and performance evaluations, and participating in employment decisions. Actions also include supervising workloads according to upcoming production needs, tracking overtime and shift coverage. Operates in compliance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures. Oversees and monitors quality within the processing area, delegate’s tasks, monitors reports, and responds accordingly. Manages incoming work requests, continually monitoring and reassigning workloads for better equipment efficiencies and reduced lost time.Supervise the Quality and Safety of Product: Monitor work quality and response times. Ensures all repairs meet quality expectations and OHSA requirements. Conducts safety meetings. Works with Director of Safety on walk through/safety audits. Complies with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices.Required Skills And QualificationsAn associate degree in a related field is preferred.Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to learn various computer systems quickly. Strong work ethic.Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining the utmost professionalism. Advanced skills in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual Spanish, preferred. Physical And Environmental FactorsSafety Awareness - Follow all safety laws, policies, and procedures. Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor.
