This is an actively open role for an immediate hire — not resume collection.What You’ll DoPlatform EngineeringBuild and maintain core backend services that power the Speedpoint platformWrite production TypeScript and Node.js code — services, APIs, integrations, and background jobsDesign and evolve Postgres schemas and queries that hold up at production scaleWork with search infrastructure (OpenSearch / Elasticsearch) to deliver fast, relevant resultsInfrastructure & ToolingWork with AWS services (EC2, ECS, Amplify, Aurora, and others) to deploy and operate production servicesUse Docker and container workflows to keep environments consistent from local through productionWork comfortably in the terminal — CLI tools are part of your daily workflow, not a blockerAI-Assisted DevelopmentUse Claude Code (or similar AI development tools like Cursor) extensively as part of your day-to-day work — writing, debugging, and maintaining code. You direct the AI, review the output, and own the resultCollaboration & OwnershipCoordinate with teammates across time zones with working hours aligned to U.S. Eastern timePartner with product and operations teammates on customer-facing features and platform qualityTake real ownership of what you ship — from design through deployment through the bugs that surface at 4pmWhat We’re Looking ForRequired:Strong proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
