Get your earned wages as soon as you want.Job DescriptionOut prep cooks are responsible for setting up workstations in the kitchen and preparing ingredients for the cooking process. The prep cook is required to perform basic cooking duties as well as monitor stock levels. To be a successful prep cook, you will be quick and diligent and be able to follow instruction and work in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesSetting up and sanitizing workstations.Following prep lists created by chefs.Measuring ingredients and seasonings and preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock to be used in the cooking process.Preparing simple dishes, such as entrees or salads.Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience as a prep cook preferredSafe food handling techniques are requiredAbility to read and understand recipesWork in a team environmentWork flexible shiftsHandle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.If you are the right candidate, then we definitely want to hear from you!
