DescriptionJob Summary:Responsible for the warehousing of all incoming / outgoing products, warehouse maintenance, stock handling and coordinating the picking/staging of job orders to other departments.Job DescriptionMonitor and direct the performance of warehouse activities including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventory control and meeting metrics.Manages the timely and accurate receipt and storage of incoming materials.Develop and maintain best in class warehousing practices including automated warehouse management systems.Assist in planning space utilization to meet prescribed cost standards.Utilize and maintain systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets, ensuring SQDIP drives business results.Utilize daily management to drive root cause process improvements.Work collaboratively across functions and departments to optimize cycle time and work quality.Lead, mentor, coach, motivate, empower, and engage team to accomplish operational objectives while holding people accountable.Ensure clear expectations and objectives are in place for team members.Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained, and team members are cross trained to continuously have machine coverage to operate as business needs dictate.Manage vehicle feet.Ensure department meets productivity goals / labor costs (OT), temporary labor.Ensure effective PM is in place for all equipment and PM is kept current.Participates in the preparation, selection and economic justification of new equipment and vendors (shipping and maintenance)Manage recycling program.Manage warehouse cycle counting program and support reconciliation/problem solving activity.Execute assigned work supporting standard inventory procedures.Instill a safety culture that drives awareness and injury prevention at every level.Ensure safety investigations are conducted as needed and manage root cause and sustainable counter measures.Manage safety audits and ensure are adequate and driving improvement with department and partner on site wide initiatives.Ensure ISO training documents are accurate, and any changes are made.Manage department engagement.Manage employee relations in partnership with HR as needed. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
