This position requires the ability to understand processes and procedures regarding these account structures and document requirements with a high level of detail. This position will also require collaboration among team members, branch office personnel, and other areas at the firm to provide high-level customer service.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nWorks within established firm guidelines regarding reviewing and approving documents for various account types.\nIdentifies account types and account structures to know what documentation is needed.\nIdentifies potential problems or issues and escalates to department leadership if necessary.\nWorks with Branch Support and New Recruits to review account documentation needed to open and/or update accounts.\nOpens accounts using internal systems and processes, ensuring proper coding.\nCompletes various reports to ensure account coding, documents, and other account features are accurate.\nWork collaboratively within a team and with other department areas to perform assigned tasks.\nProvides the highest quality of customer service through written and verbal communication.\nOther department duties may be assigned, including hotline phone calls, department emails, document coding, and other account updates or projects.\nQualifications\nStrong organizational and communication skills with the ability to follow up on open tasks.\nAbility to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.\nBasic knowledge of account types and account structures along with documentation needed beneficial.\nHigh-level customer service skills.\nAbility to learn Stifel’s applications, industry rules/regulations, and Stifel policies that pertain to the department and Stifel’s branches.\nWorking knowledge of financial services applications, systems, terminology, and procedures.\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.\nPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum Required: 1+ years of professional business-related experience.\nSystems & Technology\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nThomson One and BETA knowledge is beneficial.\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is a more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
