We serve individuals between the ages of 3 and 65, helping them achieve greater independence in all aspects of their lives. We are open Monday thru Sunday, with various shifts available between 9am-7pm.Who We're Looking ForWe're searching for candidates who are experienced, passionate, and eager to contribute to our mission.ResponsibilitiesAs a Skills Trainer (mainly assigned to the Arlington, Lexington, and Concord MA area), you will play a vital role in providing individuals with the guidance and tools they need to enhance their daily living skills and achieve greater independence. Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, hygiene, household maintenance, food shopping, meal preparation, budgeting, and social skills developmentProviding ongoing support, role modeling, and guidance in improving personal responsibility, community living skills, and socializationFacilitating leisure activities and encouraging engagement in social and recreational activities.Transporting individuals to appointments, work, and recreational outingsDocumenting daily notes on program participants' progress and any changesAttending review meetings, trainings, and other related appointments as requiredRequirementsOther duties as required.Car and valid driver's license (you will be taking individuals into the community in personal vehicles; mileage reimbursement provided). Clean driving record. Ability to pass a CORI check. Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to helping others. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
