Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design and development of enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. Build and optimize Kafka-based streaming pipelines for real-time data processing. Design scalable data models and integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases. Work with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytical workloads (good to have). Contribute to Hadoop-based big data processing frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Utilize GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery. Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support. Work in an Agile environment and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Required Skills & Experience 15+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise software development. Strong expertise in: Java / Java Full Stack Development Spring Boot, Microservices Apache Kafka (streaming, producers/consumers, schema registry) SQL & NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and distributed systems. Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark preferred). Strong knowledge of GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and AI-driven development workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment. Good to Have Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) – deployment, containerization, managed services. Experience with Snowflake for data warehousing. Exposure to financial services or capital markets. Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management. Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.
