We support automotive, aerospace, defense, and semiconductor partners deploying complex algorithms onto constrained hardware with speed and rigor.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Platform DevOps Engineer (Cloud + On-Prem) to join our team. This person will play a key role in architecting, automating, deploying, and maintaining cloud and hybrid infrastructure that supports both internal engineering and external customer deployments.In this role, you will work closely with software, infrastructure, and security teams to enhance our platform capabilities across cloud and on-prem environments. You will focus on building scalable deployment patterns, improving automation, and enabling reliable and secure delivery across internal, customer-hosted, and regulated environments.Core ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement cloud and hybrid infrastructure to support internal platforms and customer deploymentsBuild and manage deployment automation across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environmentsMaintain infrastructure-as-code repositories and deployment tooling using Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or similar toolsImplement monitoring, alerting, rollback, and recovery systems to improve platform reliabilityPartner with infrastructure engineers to support hybrid connectivity and environment consistencyWork with security teams to implement guardrails, secrets management, and deployment hardening controlsSupport customer-hosted, air-gapped, on-prem, and government deployment requirements as neededEnsure infrastructure and deployment processes are traceable, auditable, and aligned with compliance needsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure rolesExperience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience automating infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or similar technologiesProficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExperience building and maintaining deployment workflows across cloud and on-prem environmentsStrong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languagesStrong understanding of networking, secrets management, environment design, and operational reliabilityEligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearancePreferred RequirementsExperience supporting customer-hosted, regulated, or government deployment environmentsFamiliarity with GitOps and deployment tools such as ArgoCD or similar platformsExperience with observability tooling, incident response practices, and platform SRE conceptsKnowledge of compliance-oriented automation and auditability requirementsExperience working in hybrid environments that span SaaS and on-prem delivery modelsExperience operating in multi-cloud environments, for example Azure, AWS, or GCPActive U.S. security clearance (Secret or Top-Secret)BenefitsPay depends on experience, but we strive to be at the upper end of the salary rangeHealth care plan with 100% premium coverage, including medical, dental, and vision401k with 5% matchingPaid Time Off (uncapped vacation, plus sick and public holidays)Flexible hybrid or remote work arrangementRelocation assistance for qualifying employees
