This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, utilize a wide range of tools and techniques, and contribute to high-quality building renovations and new constructions.\nResponsibilities\nPrepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion.\nApply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, or other power tools.\nRead blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for residential and commercial painting jobs.\nUse hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, caulking guns, and carpentry tools for trim carpentry, fixture installation, or minor repairs.\nPerform surface preparation tasks including masonry work like stucco application or concrete finishing as needed.\nExecute restoration projects by matching colors using color theory principles and ensuring seamless finishes during remodeling or renovation efforts.\nMaintain safety standards by properly handling power tools like sanders or welders and adhering to construction site protocols.\nRequirements\nProven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with construction site familiarity.\nStrong knowledge of hand tools, power tools—including airless paint sprayers—and their safe operation.\nAbility to read blueprints and schematics accurately; basic math skills for measurements and calculations.\nExperience with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, or restoration projects is highly desirable.\nFamiliarity with construction estimating processes and schematics related to renovation projects.\nKnowledge of color theory for achieving precise color matching in various environments.\nAdditional skills such as welding, concrete finishing, fixture installation, handyman experience or maintenance are a plus.
