Sales Rep - Outdoor Living Specialist

Outdoor Living Specialist – Full-time, ($70,000 - $150,000 per year) Location: DFW Metroplex (Based out of Fort Worth, TX) An exciting opportunity to earn $70,000-150,000 per year. Show up on time, present professionally, offer expert advice, follow up, and build lasting relationships with customers. We provide everything you need, including a company truck, gas, computer, and phone line. We are looking for a motivated Sales Leader to join Top Rail Fence, a locally owned and operated fence installation company. With warm leads provided and a structured sales process in place, your primary focus will be connecting with customers, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. What You'll Do: Consult with Customers: Show up on time, present professionally, and listen carefully to customer needs. Provide consultative advice to meet their fencing needs and manage the installation process (A+ customer service). Present & Sell Solutions: Offer tailored fencing solutions, explain the benefits of Top Rail Fencing, and continue to prospect by building relationships in the community for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-ups. Pipeline & Sales Management: Organize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointments. Use our tools and CRM system to track and manage customer interactions while maintaining a structured sales process. Keep detailed and organized records of all sales activities. Drive Sales Performance: Set and maintain the required number of appointments to meet/exceed sales goals while prospecting for additional opportunities. Industry & Product Knowledge: Participate in regular training to stay updated on products, industry trends, and best practices to build trust and credibility with customers. Network & Represent the Company: Represent Top Rail Fence at home shows, engage with business owners, and build relationships to grow organic leads. Work with Installation Team: Communicate effectively with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Compensation & Benefits: Base + Commission structure with potential earnings between $70,000 and $150,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. What We’re Looking For: Results-Driven Sales Experience preferably in fencing, construction, or home service industries, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Customer Engagement & Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to build relationships with customers and provide outstanding service. Attention to Detail & Organization: A sharp eye for detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep organized records of your sales activities and customer pipeline in our CRM. Problem-Solving & Active Listening: Ability to listen carefully to customer needs, identify pain points, and provide effective solutions while managing time efficiently. Team Collaboration & Adaptability: Willingness to work as part of a team, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and adapting to new technologies and processes. Qualifications: At least 2 years of sales experience (construction or fencing preferred). Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass background and drug checks. Proven success in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Proficiency in CRM software, sales tools, and computer skills. Must be able to lift 80 lbs and perform other physical tasks as needed. Provide 3 professional references.
