Ensures a monthly schedule report is submitted to the owner adhering to contractual requirements.\nManages changes in schedule and changes in scope.\nRecognizes and manages delays and disruptions to the schedule and documents timely with proper notification to owner.\nAssumes ownership in overall budget cost to complete.\nPartners with Project Management team to ensure budget and schedule are aligned.\nManages the daily log.\nSuccessfully manages relationships with clients, vendors, inspectors, subcontractors, project management and design teams.\nEffectively leads, develops, and mentors team members. Provide timely, regular feedback. Promotes a positive team culture and environment.\nParticipates in pursuits as required.\nMeasures quality and craftsmanship.\nUnderstands, comprehends, and follows Labor Trade Contracts, and has knowledge of Dual Gate Systems.\nDetermines man lifts and tower crane required by OSHA and understands vertical transportation requirements.\nEvaluates all hoisting requirements for the job, sizes, and places cranes accordingly.\nOrganizes and designs project site logistics.\nEnsures project controls are aligned.\nTakes an active role in subcontract development (F1’s).\nDevelops and implements a OA/OC program and oversees execution of the Webcor Punch List Program.\nEffectively measures quality and craftsmanship.\nEnsures required inspections are scheduled, coordinated, and performed, tracked, and closed out.\nEvaluates problems and determines and implements appropriate courses of action based on a comprehensive understanding of weighted project risk.\nTECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED\nStrategic knowledge and understanding of the sequencing of work and develops scope in collaboration with other team members to develop trade packages.\nThorough understanding and function of the MEPS systems of a building and the timing for its start- up during the TCO/commissioning process.\nExtensive knowledge of different formwork and construction systems and ability to facilitate the interaction between those systems.\nSolid understanding of pertinent local, state, and federal laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.\nAbility to run various phases of a project from groundbreaking through commissioning and punch list. Able to assist with preconstruction activities as needed.\nStrong understanding of all facets of construction.\nUse of and understanding of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software required. Ability to develop a schedule from scratch using P6 as well as develop and maintain a recovery schedule.\nAbility to execute a site-specific safety plan.\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED\nStrategic leadership and management abilities; including training, employee development, motivation, and effective discipline.\nStrategic communication skills. Ability to address an audience of various sizes and effectively communicate his/her message and ideas. Ability to write clear and concise thoughts in a professional manner.\nStrategic decision quality and use of sound judgement.\nAdvanced customer focus and the ability to work cohesively with others.\nDisplay attitude of ownership and responsibility.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.\nTypically, ten years of relevant construction experience with at least three years as a Superintendent.\nOSHA 30 certification required (or any certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, such as STSC or CHST); CPR and First Aid/CPR/AED training completion required. If not already certified, Webcor will provide training.\nSelf-perform experience strongly preferred.\nBi-lingual abilities a plus.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nPerformance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.
