This position will be located at our Euclid, OH facility.\n\nThe Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the Euclid manufacturing site on 3rd shift from the hours of 11:00pm to 7:00am. This individual will lead the manufacturing team in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost, and employee safety goals. This role will also coordinate with all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements and drives performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. The individual will also be responsible for implementing Lean Manufacturing tools within the focused factory, while motivating the team to create high performance culture.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n\nDirect all manufacturing personnel to ensure completion of customer requirements.\n\nAssess performance indicators, and take appropriate actions, to ensure safety, schedule, cost, and quality goals are met.\n\nEnsure that required documentation and/or system transactions (employee hours, work order postings, etc.) are executed to meet customer, manufacturing system, and financial reporting requirements.\n\nAssure that policies, procedures, and other documentation are followed to ensure consistent and compliant manufactured product.\n\nProvide leadership and commitment in support of continuing improvements in quality, productivity and delivery performance.\n\nAssure that Environmental, Health, and Safety issues are addressed considering local regulations, Eaton policy, and good corporate citizenship.\n\nEvaluate operational performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management, commendations, and improvements.\n\nSpecify job assignments for manufacturing personnel, and monitor performance, to achieve product delivery and cost requirements.\n\nCoordinate and assist with manufacturing initiatives, participate on teams in order to drive best practices across manufacturing.\n\nIdentify critical machine for set-up reduction and reduce set-up times.\n\nDevelop and implement standardized work for all critical processes in the machining, assembly, and test areas.\n\nManage on shift training execution, documentation and follow up.\n\nOn shift facilities management and maintenance alerts/communication to following shift.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.\n\nMinimum of three (3) years supervisory experience in a Manufacturing or Operations environment.\n\nEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
