PM Raw Interleaver/Checkweigher Operator
Summary: Interleaver/Checkweigher Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and tending to the Pro Pac Inc Checkweigher. Provides day-to-day assistance to Supervisor/Management in meeting production and quality requirements. Responsible for understanding Daily’s GMP’s and safety policies. Additionally, may rotate job stations within Raw Packaging department.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:Setup, operate, maintain, and or breakdown the Checkweigher and/or Interleaver as assigned.Adjust target weights as neededOwns center lining process for assigned equipmentReport Weight accuracy and weight Deviations immediately to Lead and/or supervisorReport problems to lead and/or supervisorFollows reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and reports problems to supervisorMay rotate job stations and must maintain proficiency within Raw Packaging departmentMay be required to assist in other areas based on business needUnderstand bacon specification requirements to ensure qualityWork at a pace consistent with line speeds and reasonable expectationsKeep accurate records as neededMinimize scrap at all timesFollow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Department LeadFollow Daily’s attendance and punctuality rulesFollow Daily’s Good Manufacturing ProcessesFollow Daily’s Safety guidelines as outlined in Safety HandbookPerforms other related responsibilities, as needed, to support Daily’s business objectivesQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Exposure to noise above 85 dbl (hearing protection required).Work ScheduleThe hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Must be available to work as scheduled.
