{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"a853a1627cfbcec5ffa0f50d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a853a1627cfbcec5ffa0f50d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/a853a1627cfbcec5ffa0f50d","title":"Packaging Supervisor","description":"Description\n\nTo provide leadership and support to direct reports within Packaging that creates an engaging environment that inspires teammates to go above and beyond to meet customer need.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nResponsible for maintaining a safe and well-ordered workplace, identifying and resolving safety issues within the department, and ensuring all safety policies and procedures are implemented and observed\nResponsible for establishing and maintaining smooth and productive working relationships with internal and external leads and support functions (Planning, sales, Quality etc.) to accomplish department or company goals\nAccountable for accurate communication across and within production shifts for all Packaging functions\nConsults with Manager on personnel attributes of the department, such as hiring for short and long-range staffing plans based on productivity objectives and forecasted volume requirements\nPractice leadership as stated in the Exactech Leadership Model\nEnsure organizational alignment in the design and execution of initiative efforts\nEstablishes clearly defined individual goals\nResponsible for hiring and terminations within the department as required\nProvide leadership to include effective feedback on culture, results and future, coaching and mentoring, performance management and career development\nAssure compliance to the code of ethics\nResponsible for accurate performance monitoring in support of appropriate on-time feedback and evaluation and salary adjustments as identified\nResponsible for ensuring that all training for personnel is completed on-time and that training is comprehensive to duties performed by staff\nResponsible for upholding compliance by staff to all company procedures and SOPs in all Packaging Functions and communication to appropriate functions when non-compliance is identified\nResponsible for assistance with FDA and ISO Audits\nResponsible for or is consulted in the development, implementation and adherence to all departmental SOP’s and Work Instructions\nResponsible for ensuring team objectives are met and making appropriate adjustments and/or recommendations to meet changes in demand on a daily weekly and monthly basis using MRP/ERP tools as provided\nResponsible for daily balancing of labor availability and volume requirements throughout the department\nProvide consultation and direct labor support of Engineering/Continuous improvement in product and process development as needed\nKnow and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards\nAssist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\n\nEducation:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.
