Coordinate sprinkler system design using 3D modeling in new and existing structures with architects and other MEP trades. Assist design trainees with field surveys to verify existing conditions, and perform field surveys throughout construction to ensure accurate installation of projects. Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material submittals for review by Architects, Engineers and Authority Having Jurisdiction. Compile stock lists and material requisitions for the installation of Fire Sprinkler systems along with installation prints.\r\nRequirements: Fire Protection Engineering Technology Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering Technology plus 6 months of experience as a Sprinkler Designer or a related occupation\r\nOffered Salary: $58,968 per year\r\nPHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:\r\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform Essential Job Duties.\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods.
