Warehouse Technician Operations/Disassembly · Nofolk, Virginia Position Summary A dynamic individual is needed to be a part of our warehouse team. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and is able to lift heavy weight. This individual helps to process and prepare materials in the facility for recycling or destruction. Hours are generally Monday-Friday, 9-5 pm but hours may vary on occasion based on the customer's need. In addition, the ideal candidate will be available to work one Saturday a month and not be precluded from entering secure locations. Responsibilities Load and unload trucks prior to and at the completion of a given project (Must be able to lift heavyweight and stand for long periods of time) Use electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into Securis' proprietary inventory system Operates equipment that destroys hard drives and computer tapes Assists the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure a positive and efficient work experience Processes equipment, which includes the manual disassembly of electronic equipment, sorting, and putting those components in a specified container Maintains the cleanliness and overall appearance of the warehouse Handles the delivery, storage and shipping of a variety of assets Operates a pallet jack including building and maneuvering boxes on pallets Uses an industrial scale to weigh and label volumes of scrap material Maintains the physical security protocols we have in place Maintains the operating condition of all warehouse tools and machinery used to execute primary functions Equipment Pallet Jack Metal destruction machine Hand tools Experience One to two years related experience and/or training Computer Skills To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic software like Microsoft Educational Background High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Core Values · Integrity-Act ethically and honestly with customers and coworkers to build trust · Communication- Listen carefully and respond with clarity to avoid confusion · Problem Solve- Provide solutions for customer needs and collaborate with staff to effectively process material assets · Professionalism-Act with courtesy and respect for customers and coworkers Benefits Overtime 6 Paid Holidays 2 Weeks Paid Time Off Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
