Material Coordinator

Position Title : Experimental Parts ProcurementSpecific Position Requirements :Day-to-day - Create and edit manufacturing routingsGenerate programs for laser operations - Review manufactured part printsCheck production inventory and forecasted inventoriesTransfer stock between departmentsCommunicate with other departments about material transfersCommunicate with supply management on purchased parts and stock availabilityUpdate daily and weekly reports using Excell and other MS office tools - Occasionally draw and model simple parts for shop - Troubleshoot part requests from engineersTroubleshoot laser programs and manufacturing routingsSystems Used - SAP - CREO - AutoCAD - MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) RequirementsRequirements2-year degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Tech,Computer-Aided Drafting or related (or equivalent experience)Experience in a manufacturing settingMS Office experience, especially Excel - Organized and great communication skillsDetail Oriented with attention in data analysisReading 2D drawing/prints - CREO and AutoCAD ExperienceSAPPowerBIInventory Management Nice to Have4-year degree - Mechanical aptitudeSheet metal and other fabrication knowledge - Fluent and comfortable with computers
