Wages are DOE\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist customers with paint identification and matching the correct\npaint to their needs\nSell and apply various types of paints such as primers, sealers, and stains\nClean traffic lanes or inform customers about current sales or promotions\nTake paint from the warehouse to the sales floor and restock supplies\nConduct demonstrations in paint application when applicable\nMaintain the workflow by taking paint from the warehouse to the sales floor and restock supplies\nMeet job responsibilities such as stocking paint supplies, cleaning up after painting projects, and organizing displays\nWork with a team to meet job responsibilities such as stocking paint supplies, cleaning up after painting projects, and organizing displays\nPractice proper safety procedures while working near traffic lanes or other hazards\nProvide customers with assistance in selecting the color, saturation, sheen level and additives as necessary\nAssist customers by loading products into their vehicle when applicable\nEnsure that all product containers are closed promptly to avoid spillage or contamination from dirt or other contaminants\nOffer any sales promotions or incentives that may apply to particular product or transaction type\nPost the appropriate signage to highlight special offers, end of day promotional items and product demonstrations\nPerform all tasks in an efficient manner with proper use of material handling equipment specific to their department, availability of carts, dollies, hand trucks and/or forklifts\nUtilize radio headset to communicate with store personnel, monitor and test equipment for proper operation\nPerform additional duties as may be assigned by the manager.\nWe are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community.
