Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Palatka. This role is crucial in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals during emergency situations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing patient experiences. Key Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care with respect, dignity, and empathy. Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families. Assess and monitor patient conditions; document symptoms, vital signs, and medical information. Administer medications and adjust treatment plans as per patient response and physician directives. Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Interpret diagnostic tests to assess and monitor patient conditions. Promote patient independence through education on self-care, medications, and conditions. Ensure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards and making necessary adjustments. Document patient care services and maintain continuity through effective communication. Operate and maintain medical equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs. Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, and coordinate admissions and discharges. Educate patients, families, and groups on health topics and disease prevention. Direct infection control programs and provide training for auxiliary personnel or students. Engage in nursing-related research activities. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in an Emergency Room setting. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Associate Degree in Nursing required. If possessing a compact license with 3+ years of RN experience, FL license application is required. Candidates with less than 3 years of RN experience must pass the NCLEX in FL for consideration.
