This is a highly visible role working directly with operations, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to improve product quality, process capability, and production performance.\n\nThe initial engagement is expected to last approximately 3 weeks onsite , with the potential for follow‑on implementation work up to 6‑12 months.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEvaluate and improve torque‑controlled assembly processes.\n\nTroubleshoot torque tooling, controls, communication, and traceability issues.\n\nAnalyze torque data, process capability, and quality performance metrics.\n\nSupport integration and optimization of torque systems within manufacturing operations.\n\nWork with operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and IT teams to identify and resolve production issues.\n\nValidate torque strategies, fastening specifications, and process controls.\n\nImprove data collection, reporting, and traceability associated with critical fastening operations.\n\nProvide practical recommendations to improve throughput, quality, reliability, and process consistency.\n\nSupport implementation of corrective actions and sustainable process improvements.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nExperience with one or more of the following torque systems:\n\nAtlas Copco\n\nDesoutter\n\nBosch Rexroth\n\nStanley Assembly Technologies\n\nSimilar industrial torque platforms\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.\n\n5+ years of manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, or assembly engineering experience.\n\nHands‑on experience with industrial torque tooling systems.\n\nStrong understanding of torque control methodologies, fastening processes, and assembly quality requirements.\n\nExperience troubleshooting torque communication and controls issues.\n\nFamiliarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), production data collection, and traceability systems.\n\nStrong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.\n\nAbility to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAutomotive, aerospace & defense, industrial equipment, or other complex discrete manufacturing experience.\n\nExperience integrating torque systems with:\n\nMES platforms\n\nSCADA systems\n\nPLC controlsQuality and traceability databases\n\nUnderstanding of Industry 4.0 manufacturing technologies.\n\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.\n\nExperience supporting production launches or complex assembly operations.\n\nAbout Implementation Engineers\nAt Implementation Engineers, we do more than make recommendations— we deliver results.
