In this role, you will provide technical and strategic expertise in terms of life cycle asset management implementation and the associated practices, to ensure maximum possible equipment performance at minimum cost. This will be accomplished by analysis, process mapping and improvements through equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability.\n\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nDevelop equipment system and location hierarchy\nPerform criticality analysis and determine risk priority numbers for various equipment\nPerform RCM/FMEA for equipment\nDevelop equipment maintenance plans that contain failure modes mapped to technologies or tasks\nCreate both predictive and preventive maintenance tasks\nLevel load optimized reliability based maintenance strategies\nCoordinate the implementation of the reliability based maintenance strategy master plan\nConduct Root Cause Failure Analysis\nDefine reliability based queries and reports to support a continuous improvement process\nRequired Education, Skills, and Experience:\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering\nAt least 5 years of engineering experience with some experience in reliability\nRelevant Certifications that may include: CRE (Certified Reliability Engineer) or CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professionals) through SMRP (Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals) or ASQ (American Society of Quality)\nAbility to interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgment\nCapable of functioning effectively in a team environment\nStrong communication skills both verbal and written in group\nExcellent presentation skills in group settings as well as one-on-one\nKnowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis\nProficient in Excel pivot tables and charting\nKnowledge of standard quality and reliability tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), Weibull Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistics\nPreferred Skills and Experience:\nExperience with Six Sigma methodology\nUnderstanding of product reliability goals, reliability growth, and reliability prediction\nExperience in applying thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonic analysis, vibration analysis, and motor analysis and associated performance trending programs\n5-10 years of experience in reliability engineering related processes\nExperience in pharmaceutical industry\nPhysical Demands and Expectations:\nAbility to travel up to 10%.\nRegular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting\nAbility to speak, read, hear and write, with or without assistance\nAbility to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment\nThis position description re present s a summary of the major components and requirements of the outlined job.
