This is a highly visible role, and the successful candidate must be intellectually curious, detail oriented, have strong communication skills, and have strong knowledge of market access data sets which include major third-party sources and distribution data sets.\r\nThis will partner closely with cross-functional GVAD and other Cytokinetic Commercial teams.\r\nMajor Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)\r\nPartner with the Senior Director to support and continuously enhance U.S. pricing governance (EPC), facilitating cross-functional decision-making processes that enable effective B2B contracting\r\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to support B2B negotiations with customers on business terms such as rebates or discounts and fee structures.\r\nDevelop contracting business-case deal modeling informing price governance bodies, leveraging input from Payer Account Management, GVAD leadership, and other cross-functional partners.\r\nProvide key financial and business analyses and reports pertaining to all segments of supply chain, government, and commercial managed care contracts.\r\nMonitor and evaluate key market access performance indicators and translating data into actionable insights and recommendations for GVAD leadership.\r\nDevelop reports and participate in regular business reviews of channel access, revenue and rebate forecasts with the Senior Director, Pricing and Contracting and the Contract Working Group (CWG).\r\nLeverage existing data resources (rebate claims, 3rd party, SP, Hub) to evaluate business impact, gross-to-net, scenario assessment, and pricing dynamics.\r\nProvide strategic distribution channel analysis and insights, support the monitoring and validation of specialty pharmacy and specialty distributor data, chargebacks, 340B, and return goods.\r\nProvide trend updates to Payer Account Management and GVAD teams, including government and commercial payers, channel accounts, and access updates to inform customer strategy and business planning.\r\nDrive the development, maintenance and continuous enhancement of contracting performance dashboards utilizing a variety of internal and external stakeholders to provide business insights and support decision making.\r\nServe as a key subject matter expert on account and channel performance, ensuring integrity, consistency, and effective interpretation of performance metrics.\r\nIdentify and champion system and process improvements for operational excellence.\r\nQualifications\r\n8-10+ years of progressive pharmaceutical experience in managed care pricing, contracting, market access analytics, contract operations, or related commercial functions. Experience supporting cross-functional pricing and contracting initiatives is strongly preferred.\r\nStrong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of the payer market, customer business models and downstream relationships, contract terms and structures.\r\nStrong understanding of legal, compliance, and governance considerations related to pharmaceutical pricing and contracting. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.\r\nStrong business analytical skills and solid financial analysis skills.\r\nRequires a bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).\r\nStrong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\r\nGood presentation skills, able to organize and clearly communicate complex ideas in a succinct manner.\r\nThis position requires domestic travel approximately 10% of the time. This role is based in South San Francisco or the Philadelphia offices.\r\nPay Range\r\nIn the U.S., the hiring pay range for fully qualified candidates is $232,830-$271,635 per year.
