Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standard situations\nSimple computer skills required for minimum job functions of service center operations\nProficiency in Microsoft applications\nCustomer service and problem-solving skills\nExcellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills\nAttention to detail\nAbility to organize and prioritize responsibilities\nGood verbal and written communication\nAbility to function as an integral team member, working under time constraints and meeting deadlines in a changing environment\nAbility to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervisioView every interaction as an opportunity to add value and enhance relationships\n\nOFFICE AND TRAVEL\n\nOccasional travel to job sites, but very limited\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS\n\nOrder Processing (95% of time)\n\nPrepare customer orders\nPicking orders and organizing the orders for deliveries\nFill all orders accurately and within prescribed time\nSecure substitution requests as needed\nCommunicate back orders\nJobsite returns and receipts\nProcess returns from jobsites accurately and within prescribed time\nCount incoming articles to verify receipt and put away in assigned location\nNotify job sites if there are discrepancies on returns\nMark identifying codes on articles as needed\nInspect tools as they come back from jobs for possible repairs needed\nStrongly adhere to all best-in-class safety practices.\nAssist other team members in different areas when needed, and when qualified to perform task\nReceiving of consumables and stocking shelves\nClean and organize work area\n\nOther Duties as assigned (5% of time)\n\nParticipate as an active member of the Six Side Supply Team. Contribute to shared goals and collaborate with colleagues on achievement of priorities.\nCollaborate with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to align efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\n\nThe physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee needs to be able to lift up to 50 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and ability to distinguish between colors on graphs and charts.\n\nOccasionally, employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.\n\nIn alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $18.70 to $32.16/hr excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses.
