This role includes receiving, storing, moving, and staging materials accurately and safely while following established procedures and safety guidelines. The Inventory Control I position also performs inventory cycle counts, verifies inventory accuracy, investigates variances, and maintains accurate inventory records within the system. The Inventory Control I works closely with team members, leads, and supervisors to ensure materials are accurately tracked and available to meet production and delivery requirements in a timely and efficient manner.\r\nRequired Qualifications:\r\n1-2 years of experience in material handling, logistics, or warehouse operations.\r\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.\r\nKnowledge of inventory control principles and stock management processes.\r\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.\r\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\r\nReliable attendance and punctuality.\r\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.\r\nPreferred Qualifications:\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\r\nBasic computer skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.\r\nForklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.\r\nFamiliarity with inventory systems and/or barcode scanners.\r\nExperience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.\r\nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles.\r\nWorking Conditions:\r\nWhile performing duties of the job, incumbent is required to stand for full shift; walk; sit; use hand to finger handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.\r\nEmployee must occasionally lift and/or move up 50 pounds\r\nSpecific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus\r\nNon-A/C work area; the noise level can periodically be higher than normal, hearing protection may be required\r\nThe anticipated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.11, hourly.
