Built by educators, for educators, it is used by over 200,000 educators across 2,500+ schools in 100+ countries .\n\nTeachers today work 50+ hours a week. Too much of that time is spent navigating fragmented systems and administrative overhead. Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to save teachers 10+ hours every week while helping elevate their practices , so that time can go back to what matters most - teaching, learning, and meaningful time with students.\n\nOur approach is three-pronged.\n\nFirst, Toddle brings the entire teaching and learning lifecycle into one place . Teachers plan and map curriculum, create assessments and gradebooks, maintain student portfolios, communicate with families, and generate progress reports and transcripts - all from a single, coherent system. Toddle also supports adjacent workflows where teachers are closely involved, including attendance, timetables, calendars, accreditation, behaviour management, analytics, and insights.\n\nSecond, every layer of the platform is deeply AI-powered . Educators work with a thoughtful AI partner to plan curriculum, create lessons and assessments, assist with grading, write progress report comments, and derive insights from data. Toddle also offers student-facing AI Tutors, enabling highly personalized and immersive learning experiences.\n\nThird, Toddle integrates seamlessly with the broader school technology ecosystem . The platform supports 50+ integrations across SIS platforms, content providers, data & integration platforms, and workspaces such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft.\n\nYou can watch our founder and CEO’s overview of Toddle here.\n\nHeadquartered in India with a multicultural team across 20+ countries, Toddle is built by former educators and school practitioners who understand the realities of classrooms firsthand. We care deeply about craft, clarity, and reducing unnecessary complexity for teachers. People who thrive at Toddle enjoy building thoughtful systems, care about real-world impact, and are motivated by long-term change in K-12 education.\n\nWe are looking for experienced Visual Arts educators to author original, exam-aligned textbooks for Toddle's growing library of International Baccalaureate resources, on a part-time basis . This is a structured, milestone-driven contract with close collaboration with Toddle's team and a subject-matter reviewer.\n\nAbout the role\nYou will plan, write, and refine a complete IBDP textbook for the Visual Arts subject - from syllabus mapping through to final cross-check, working within a defined process and submitting deliverables for review at each milestone. The book must be academically rigorous, exam-focused, and genuinely better than what is currently on the market.\n\nAll content must be written in British English, and citations must follow APA format.\n\nHere’s what you’ll be doing\n\nBenchmark existing Visual Arts textbooks to identify gaps and define where your book adds genuine value\n\nAnalyse IA/EA subject reports to identify recurring student misconceptions and examiner-flagged skill gaps\n\nMap the full syllabus into a tracking spreadsheet, flagging all SL/HL distinctions and monitoring coverage throughout\n\nDesign a detailed chapter template covering chapter openings, DP core integration, assessment preparation, command term scaffolding, visuals, and academic rigour\n\nDraft all chapters; including a dedicated IA chapter - following the agreed template, and submit in batches through milestone-based review cycles\n\nCross-check all content against past papers and mark schemes, and conduct a final coverage check across the entire book before submission\n\nJoin weekly check-ins with the Toddle team to discuss progress, share ideas, and align on priorities\n\nWhat we're looking for\n\nDemonstrated experience teaching Visual Arts. You understand how the IB assesses students and what exam readiness actually requires\n\nDeep familiarity with your subject's guide, TSM, specimen papers, and recent subject reports\n\nStrong written communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly across SL and HL levels\n\nAbility to work independently to a milestone schedule, submit drafts on time, and incorporate reviewer feedback constructively\n\nStill with us? Here’s the process:\n1) Shortlisting:\n\nComplete the form on this page\n\nWe’ll check out your application and assess it for a fit\n\n2) Once shortlisted, we usually do about 2-3 rounds of interviews, a written assignment\n\n3) We value everyone’s time hence we make it a point to communicate proactively at all stages of your application.
