The position is Monday through Friday during the school year hours from 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 and 2:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. daily (hours could vary)\nThe Program Coordinator will:\nEnsure a strong academic experience for all students.\nProvide ongoing training and support to program staff.\nSupervise and coordinate program instructors on-site.\nEnsure fidelity of the Flex Model in programming.\nEnsure compliance with appropriate state licensing regulations.\nDevelop and maintain constant communication with families and school leadership.\nEnsure that all administrative functions are completed, including all state licensing-related paperwork (i.e. maintaining staff and child files).\nProgram Coordinator Qualifications:\nPassionate about helping kids succeed\nPossess a willingness to learn\nAgree to a background check and complete the required training\nThe program Coordinator must be at least 21 years old and have verifiable experience teaching school-age children in a structured setting\nCurrent Certification as a Child Development Associate or Certified Child Care Professional OR University Degree or Education Equivalent.\nMust be able to meet and stay current on state-specific licensing requirements\nAbout Flex\nFlex is a rapidly growing, first-in-kind, premier enrichment, before and after-school care and camp provider. The Company aggregates, manages, and provides enrichment programming, before/after school care, and camps for elementary and middle school students, easing the burden on PTAs and preventing “volunteer burnout.” They serve several schools in multiple states (including Washington, D.C.; from Virginia to Connecticut) and have thousands of students enrolled in programs fulfilled by about 100 local enrichment providers who have been vetted by Flex through screens and background checks.
