We are recognized by our customers and industry partners for our ethical standards, world-class technical expertise, and dedication to accomplishing the mission in a responsive, efficient, and affordable manner.\nDuties:\nAssist with managing complex contracts with multiple line items, funding streams, and subcontractors\nResponsible for the set-up and maintenance of billable contracts in the accounting system (Deltek Costpoint) to ensure consistency with the contracts and support of the Program Management's contract performance reporting requirements\nSupport the development of plans, budgets, and schedules, to meet contractual/project requirements for multiple contracts with a variety of contract types, such as FFP, CPFF, T&M, as well as hybrids\nFollow established financial controls, procedures, systems and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements\nMonitor progress of program requirements and cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met\nParticipate in monthly Program Management Reviews\nContribute to the production of Cost reports and CDRLs to distribute to customers & internal management\nConduct variance analysis of actuals vs baseline\nCalculate and process invoices in Deltek Costpoint\nReview and validate contract revenue\nGenerate reports of revenue, profit, and direct labor projections by contract\nInitiate funding alerts to the contracts administrator for all contracts assigned\nAllocate subcontractor funding and assist in the preparation of subcontractor funding modifications\nReview of subcontractor/vendor invoices for accuracy\nWork closely with contract administrators to review all new contracts and contract modifications\nAssist in the investigations and resolution of AR invoice issues\nAssist in the pricing of labor, travel, and materials for various types of contracts and proposals\nFollow a closeout process to close out contracts when they are complete and after audit.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent\nMinimum of one year of program control/financial analyst experience in federal government contracting specifically with CPFF contracts\nStrong aptitude for using & enhancing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, strong commitment to customer service, and ability to plan and manage multiple tasks\nExperience using Deltek Costpoint to include Billing, Invoicing, Project Setup, Project Reporting, Business Intelligence (desired)\nAbout Us\nFounded in 2007, Canvas connects a passion for going beyond the expected with the knowledge and expertise to deliver what our clients need now and in the future.
